The PWMS Department provides services to the Community of Burwash Landing and surrounding areas. Operations & Maintenance is responsible for Delivery of Potable Water, Septic Extraction, KFN Housing, and Maintaining First Nation Community and Government Buildings. This department must constantly keep up with changing health and safety regulations and training needs while continuing to provide daily services. The department does its best to accommodate all people and their needs.

- Septic Waste is held in buried holding tanks and trucked to lagoon
- Main Roads are plowed by YTG in winter periodically.
- Garbage Collection from 6 government buildings and 5 residential units (Elders)
- Building Maintenance and Custodial Services are provided by PWMS Dept.
