Departments

Kluane First Nation government is comprised of several departments that serve the needs of the KFN Citizens and the community and manages the lands and resources. Each department is managed by a Director. The Directors report to the Executive Director who is employed by Chief and Council.
Executive
Managing the adminstrative functions of the KFN government, including Human Resources and Education and Training.
Economic Development
A majority of government economic development services is contracted to Kluane Community Development Corporation.
Finance
Managing the fiscal budget of the KFN government and includes Information Technology
Governance
Overseeing the implementation and negotiation of the KFN agreements, including all aspects of enrolment and citizenship.
Health and Social
Providing programs and services to KFN Citizens in the areas of health, wellness and social services.
Lands, Resources and Heritage
Managing all aspects of land, renewable, non-renewable and heritage use and engagment in the KFN Traditional Territory.
Public Works and Municipal Services
Managing all public buildings and roads and providing municipal services within the KFN Traditional Territory. Housing is also managed in this department
